I saw this KickStarter project called “ExtraCore” awhile ago and decided to back it.
Knock-knock says Ms. USPS Worker. Sign, sign, print, print and here we go.
They’re tiny Arduino compatible cores. Just the brain, no USB, no power regulation. Very light. So, when I need some processing power, or more pins, or a remote sensor, I can use one of these. The second picture shows an Arudino Uno, a Adafruit Boarduino, and the ExtraCore.
It’ll be fun to play with. This will go great with the POV project I’m working on (here’s a sneak peek). There’s a comparison of the ExtraCore with the Boarduino. The mass reduction is very substantial.
